A Chuva de Abril **

Em Abril a chuva é um espelho na janela.
São duras as sombras como pedras.
Onde mora a luz?
A água aprisiona-me.
Pequenas cinzas da alegria
volteiam, imparáveis,
cercando-me.
Amo-te devagar sobre um lençol
de silêncio.
Amo-te para que todos os milagres aconteçam
na música que és.
Dentro de mim a vida são todos os momentos: tu,
a memória das vertigens mais belas, as montanhas
e os rios das palavras.
Só com elas navego ao teu encontro.
Chove eternamente
nesta manhã tão rente ao chão.
Nas estátuas húmidas do vento
poisam, agora e sempre,
as pombas e os pensamentos.
O cântico da água.
April Rain

Rain in April is a mirror by the window.
Shadows are hard as stones.
Where lives the light?
Water imprisons me.
Small ashes of joy
whirl, unstoppable,
enclosing me.
I love you slowly
on a sheet of silence.
I love you so all miracles can happen
in the music that you are.
Within me, life are all the moments: you,
the memory of the most beautiful madness,
mountains and rivers of words.
Only through them I navigate towards you.
Rains eternally
this morning so near the ground.
On moist statues of the wind
land, now and forever,
pigeons and thoughts.
Water’s song.

O Céu e o Mar
Seu olhar era o mar
De águas tão escuras
Onde o meu escuras
Era só procura
O sol brilhava dourado
E o mar, de nuvens vestido
Chorava o céu, quantos mares teria?
Por ele esperaria,
A cada volta do mundo?
Para o céu, só um mar existia
Apesar de outros mares cruzar
Só nele se via.

The Sky and The Sea
In view was the sea
Of waters so dark
Where my darkness
Was only to look for
The sun shone golden
And the sea, of clouds dressed
Cried the sky, how many seas did it have?
For the sea it would wait,
For each rotation of the world?
For the sky, only one sea existed
Though other seas crossed
Only in it one saw.
