The <i>InterDISCIPLINARY Journal of Portuguese Diaspora Studies </i>(IJPDS) is a peer-reviewed scholarly online and print journal published annually in the fall. Also part of this academic journal is the publication of special thematic issues that engage with aspects of Portuguese diaspora studies, both traditional and modern.<br /><br /> The hallmark of research today is "interdisciplinary," bringing insights from a variety of disciplines. Drawing upon this inquiry, the journal fosters research on the Portuguese diaspora, past and present, from multidisciplinary, comparative, and global perspectives<b> </b>within thematic areas that embrace the Humanities and the Social Sciences. <br /><br />The journal represents original scholarship receptive to the interdisciplinary topics and theoretical contexts spanning the diversity and variety of research interests.<br /><br />The <i>InterDISCIPLINARY Journal of Portuguese Diaspora Studies</i>  offers a rich mixture of original research articles, essays, fiction and nonfiction, poetry, interviews, thematic photo essays, and book reviews. <br /><br /><br /> <div>We welcome submissions of original works not under consideration elsewhere, and in any of the following languages, English, Portuguese, Spanish or French. <br /> <div><br /></div> <div><br /></div> <div><br /></div> <div>The <i>InterDISCIPLINARY Journal of Portuguese Diaspora Studies</i> (IJPDS) is covered in the following indexing and abstracting services: <i>LATINDEX </i>and<i> MLA International Bibliography</i>.<br /><br /></div> <div>ISSN 2325-3991 (print) / ISSN 2165-2694 (online)<br /><br /><br /></div> <div><br /></div> <div>Irene Maria F.
